TB-300 Aquatic Blue Dye Concentrate. Available in 1 quart or 1 gallon jugs. TB-300 has two desirable characteristics, a) it fights algae by cutting down on the depth of light penetration into the pond, and b) it lends a pleasing blue color to the water. Not meant for flowing waters, such as creeks or streams. Can be applied either by pouring in around the edges of a pond, or by using the Application Pump.

POND CLARIFICATION

TB-300 … ALGAE REDUCTION

An entirely different approach to pond water clarification attacks the growth or presence of algae. It does so by reducing the depth to which sunlight can penetrate. TB-300 is a highly concentrated water dye. Because algae requires sunlight to both live and multiply, less light penetration means less algae.
Your pond’s water stays clearer, aquatic life is healthier and the pond’s color is a more vibrant blue. With PondEnviro’s special True Blue (TB-300) concetrate, just a
little goes a long way.

TB-300 may be mixed with your pond’s water in one of three ways:

1) By simply pouring into the pond a half-ounce at a spot just a few feet from the water’s edge. A pair of rubber boots is recommended for this job.

2) By using an application pump in the same way DB-110 is applied. See APPLYING DB-110 in our FREE TECHNICAL BULLETINS page.

3) By pouring into the water near or at a fountain or aerator, thus using the created motion in the water to do the mixing. This typically occurs near the pond’s center area.

APPLICATION RATE FOR TB-300

The suggested Application Rate for TB-300 is 1 quart for a 1 acre pond that is 4 feet deep (on-average depth). It also means that it will treat a one-half acre pond that averages 8 feet in depth. You will need 2 quarts if your 1 acre pond averages 8 feet deep. And so on. If you need help figuring your pond’s size in acreage, see below.

See the Tech Library for Area Calculation.

TB-300 is not approved for flowing waterways, such as creeks, streams or rivers.
